May House provided excellent value for money. The room was clean, beautifully decorated, and had a cozy feel. The location was convenient, with a short walk to the town center and easy access to the local museum and abbey. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
The breakfast offerings could be improved with a wider variety of options.

The decor was super stylish, with a jaw-dropping big sofa in the front room. The kitchen had loads of utensils if you wanted to cook, and there was even a hairdryer in every room. The top floor bathroom was mind-blowingly spacious, and the showers were powerful. The ease of access on arrival with keys was top-notch. The location was great, with a short walk into town and the local museum nearby. Plus, you could easily hop on the open top bus to reach the abbey. The lovely gargoyles added a cool touch. We also enjoyed the convenience of free wi-fi, off-site car park, and beach access. The house had board games for entertainment, and they even allowed pets. No smoking on site was a bonus too. In overall, our stay was absolutely fantastic and we were amazed by all the wonderful features provided.

Well-presented property, convenient for the local museum and easy access to the open top bus. 10-minute walk to the town center with a park pathway option. Parking available outside the property. Clean with good quality furnishings and ample kitchen utensils. Strong, warm showers.
